They say not to judge a person with out walking in their shoes. What about looking through their glasses? Not only to you see their surroundings the way they perceive things but you see how they view you. How different would it be to see the way others view you. Some my shudder at this fact and others may not think much of it at all. We continue to put on the glasses of others and even the glasses of this world. The glasses we look through make us look fat, annoying, insignificant, stupid, and unattractive. So why do we chose day after day to put on these glasses? The glasses that have made me second guess my self worth when I see a girl that is pretty or the glasses that have made me wonder if I have any thing to offer. Maybe its because we put them on such a long time ago and we have never made the choice to take them off?
How would our vision change if we decided to put on the glasses Jesus gives us when we are born again. The glasses that change the way we look at everything around us. Its more than a difference of just polarized sunglasses:) its a change that may in turn change the way we act and the way we treat those around us. We are the King's children and we are formed perfectly for the purpose he made us for. We are beautiful, amazing, funny, and a blast to know. It may be hard to change the glasses you have grown to find some comfort in, but in end we know what glasses we were formed to wear.
